Restoration of GHNL-2-108477
May 22, 1998 - body is finally back from blasting. It has been steam cleaned, bead blasted and then sand blasted where rust removal was needed.

Thankfully, very little rust was found - some pinholes in the trunk floor and dogleg on the right rear fender. The inch thick layer of tar/undercoat protected things well - but came off with difficulty. I spend hours at Steve's scraping of the bits not removed by the media blasting..

Almost every panel needed some smoothing. Nothing too serious, but lots of parking lot wars. Plus- 3 of 4 fenders and both doors had been bashed & repaired in earlier days.
